Hugh Davies owner of Celtic Heritage Interiors is a cabinet maker with over thirty years’ experience. We started the business Celtic heritage kitchens as a husband and wife team in 1999 from a purpose-built cabin in the back garden which we soon outgrew expanding into first one and then two units before moving into one large unit situated just off the M4 corridor near Swansea.
Early on we specialised in handcrafted kitchens that gradually grew due to demand to include custom made bedrooms, furniture, and a full bespoke joinery service. Times and trends change but our ethos never has, ‘affordable luxury to which we have remained true, quality craftsmanship and unique customer service and after sales service guaranteed.
Stand out moments
Derwent Island house owned and leased by the National Trust is one of those outstanding projects. The house situated on a private island in the Lake district is accessible by boat crossing only which made for an interesting experience especially in transporting the furniture safely across.
The handcrafted period kitchen has since featured on channel five coast to coast with Tony Robinson. Tony’s wow moment reaction to the hand painted kitchen was a proud moment for all of us. ‘Us’ includes our friendly team whom without their dedication to the craft our many diverse projects would not have been possible.
